Latem is the 2022 Belgian Golf League Women’s Champion!

It was a very tight final between Latem and Sart Tilman.

We had a young team with Sophie Nibus and Clara Cerfon (Sart Tilman), against an experienced team from Latem, represented by Camille Richelle and Elize Van Aken.

Nibus managed to stay 2up over Richelle for a good while before wrapping up on 17 where she defeated her 3&1. On the other hand, Van Aken had a slow start but reached 5up over Cerfon, until the young lady from Sart Tilman tried to make a comeback. Unfortunately, it was too late and Van Aken won on 16 (3&2)

With 1 point for each team, the title was determined in a play-off which opposed Nibus to Richelle. Nibus made a 5 on the first hole at Rigenée while Richelle secured the win with a tap-in par to crown Latem as the 2022 Champion!
